Museum of Tolerance Personal Statement Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Museum of Tolerance - Personal Statement Example The museum without the expertise of the team from Collections department will not be able to accumulate the present collection of precious and prized pieces of arts, literature, and music. The people from Building Operations department are responsible for the museums physical condition and building security. Management has the responsibility to take necessary actions in order to address the pressing issue of big budget which has been cut from the museum's annual subsidy. After carefully reviewing the current administrative structure, collections, research, public programs, building operations, and all other museum activities, and after examining functional duties of each department, one can still cut the Building Operations department's budget. The building has enough security cameras that a dozen of security men are good enough to handle the museums security threat such as burglars, thieves, and vandals. I have visited several museums but this has been, by far, one of my favorites. The things may remind one of the horrors of the Holocaust but it serves to remind us of our own mortality.

The mantle of mistakes

The mantle of mistakes A mistake is made, the consequences pour forward. For each mistake, there is the concomitant necessity to atone, but, if one corrects their mistake before it is too late, they may be able to evade that atonement. In William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet, one is able to witness how severe mistakes that are neglected, and left unrealized, lead to the tragic destruction of the two protagonists. Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, the two protagonists, are from two different families, who have past rivalries and do not associate with one another. Romeo and Juliet hurriedly marry each other, but because of their ill-fate, they eventually meet their demise. Their death is caused not so much by their own flaws as by numerous obstacles in their path, which are created by other characters. The characters that induce the most dramatic and critical affect upon the young couples death, are Tybalt, the Nurse, and Friar Laurence.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The hot-blooded and furious cousin of Juliet, Tybalt, bears a grudge against Romeo, which inevitably leads to a series of misfortunes. When he confronts Romeo at the Capulets party, he is dishonoured in front of a whole debauchery because of Romeo. Later on, he pursues Romeo to take revenge, â€Å"Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries, that thou hast done to me† (Act III, sc i, ll 65-66), and erroneously slays Mercutio, Romeos friend. Romeo then slays Tybalt to avenge his friends death, and, runs away. Meanwhile, the Prince, who is the leader of the city, announces that Romeo is banished from Verona, â€Å"Immediately we do exile him hence† (Act III, sc i, ll 187). This causes Juliet to weep for her husband. Her parents assume that she is sad because of Tybalts death, and decide that she should get married to the County Paris immediately, which is a great misunderstanding. Above all, her father threatens to disown her if she does not marry Paris. T his forces Juliet to take drastic measures, and drink the potion that Friar Laurence provides her with, which is followed by the death of Romeo and Juliet. If Tybalt did not pursue Romeo and initiate the conflicts, neither Mercutio nor Tybalt would have met their end, and Romeo would not have been banished. If Romeo did not get exiled, Juliet would not have gone to such drastic measures to evade her marriage with Paris. If Juliet did not take Friar Lawrences potion, Romeo would not have killed Paris, or drank the poison, and Juliet would not have committed suicide. In other words, if Tybalt did not make the mistake of disregarding the Prince and Lord Capulets strict orders, the deaths of the innocent characters would not have occurred.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Besides the childish behaviour of Tybalt, an adult that should take responsibility for the tragedy is the Nurse. The Nurse is the person who has been taking care of Juliet since the day she was born. Unfortunately, even she makes mistakes. She helps the two marry each other. She even goes as far as to tell Romeo, that, â€Å"For the gentlewoman is young and therefore, if you should deal double with her, truly it were an ill thing to be offered to any gentlewoman, and very weak dealing† (Act II, sc iv, ll 163-166), meaning that she makes sure that Romeo knows, that he better mean that he wants to marry Juliet. The Nurse helps Juliet to get to her wedding, which is very foolish of her, since she does not even think the slightest bit about what would happen if the two were to marry. After Romeo is banished, the Nurse does not support him anymore. Moreover, she does not understand that Juliets love for Romeo is genuine, and not some childish infatuation. She be trays Juliet, even though she is a wise and experienced woman. She encourages her to forget about Romeo and marry the County Paris instead, â€Å"I think it best you married with the County† (Act III, sc v, ll 225), which discourages Juliet greatly, since the Nurse was the only person Juliet could earnestly confide in. This betrayal by the Nurse leaves Juliet alone to make her own decisions. The Nurse is supposed to be one of Juliets best friends. Now when it is important for Juliet to have someone support her, she is disheartened. She also knows of the secret marriage between Romeo and Juliet, yet she does not notify others of it. As a result, the Nurse thinks she is helping Juliet by leading her on that path, but, in truth, she is only helping her towards her death. That is an error that could have been easily resolved, but, she does not even know she made that error in the first place. Otherwise, if the Nurse continued supporting Juliet, she would have confided in her, and the Nurse could have stopped the whole tragedy from happening.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Likewise, the gullible and somewhat secretive Friar Laurence plays a big part in the death of the young couple. He is a Franciscan Friar and is well-known throughout Verona. The Friar does all his actions, without even slightly thinking about the results. He is present throughout Romeo and Juliets lives; he unites them, comes up with a plan to keep them together, and is an ally throughout their tragedies. Nevertheless, Friar Laurences foolish actions in marrying Romeo and Juliet, creating thoughtless plans, and his fear of committing sin, all contribute to the deaths of them. For instance, after the death of Mercutio and Tybalt, and Romeos banishment, Friar Laurence is still not aware of the consequences of Romeo and Juliets marriage. Instead, he continues his effort in reuniting Romeo and Juliet. The plan he concocts for reuniting them is very risky, and badly thought out. Juliet is willing to commit suicide if the Friar does not help her, so, to appease her, the Friar gives her a potion to drink, and that potion, would keep her in a death-like state for forty-two hours. Meanwhile, he sends a letter to inform Romeo of the plan, but it never reaches him. Friar John, the person who is supposed to deliver the letter, says this to Friar Laurence, â€Å"I could not send it-here it is again-† (Act V, sc ii, ll 14). This tells the reader that Friar Laurence does not tell the messenger the importance of the letter beforehand. Also, Friar Laurence does not abide by his agreement with Romeo, â€Å"Sojourn in Mantua; Ill find out your man, and he shall signify from time to time† (Act III, sc iii, ll 168-169), which means he would notify Romeo of happenings via his manservant, Balthasar. Furthermore, the Friar contributes to the death of Juliet by his cowardly behaviour in the tomb. He does not comfort her at seeing her love dead and he also does not give her hope for future life other than life among holy nuns, â€Å"Ill dispose of thee , among a sisterhood of holy nuns† (Act V, sc iii, ll 156-157). After that, he abandons her, as he does not want to be seen or caught in the midst of all the drama. This is very irresponsible, cowardly, and selfish, especially since Juliet threatens to kill herself in the presence of Friar Laurence earlier in the play. In short, because of Friar Laurences short-sightedness and mistakes that he overlooks, he dooms those he tries to help. He puts the core of the catastrophe into motion, all starting with rashness, hastiness and numerous bad decisions. He tries to please everyone, but ends up pleasing no one. Therefore, if the two did not know Friar Laurence at all, this would not have ended as a tragedy.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  In brief, from the very beginning, the young couple is destined to die. Almost every decision that the three characters make, leads up to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The deaths are the fault of the people who do not realize their mistakes earlier, and now grieve. These characters are Tybalt, the Nurse and Friar Laurence. They assist fate in succeeding to not allow Romeo and Juliet to be together. All of them make considerable mistakes by not thinking before acting. If the Nurse had continued supporting Juliet, Friar Laurence had thought carefully and Tybalt did not hold a grudge, these deaths would not have occurred. The outcome would have been completely different. The errors and senseless decisions that they made, became the sorrow of their whole lives.

General Science Labs Should Be Optional at State University Essay

A student’s main goal is to acquire knowledge and use what they learn to make advances towards the future. Each and every student has his or her own way of learning. Some students learn better by attending lecture and taking notes, while others would learn more by reading a textbook. A reporting on research from Colorado Christian University in 2012 stated that â€Å"stress in college students can affect the ability to concentrate, and there have been studies conducted that prove that stress interferes with a student’s ability to concentrate† (CCU). Students at State University are required to enroll in science labs and this results in many complications. Students at UCR should be given the choice to enroll in labs if they choose to because it will result in less stress and more flexibility when it comes to planning a schedule for the next quarter. Many undergraduate students here at State University will take at least one general science class. A student in the college of Natural and Agricultural Sciences or Bourns College of Engineering will be required to take general biology, chemistry, and physics class along with their respective laboratory class. Each laboratory class last around three hours and the amount of work for a lab is almost as much as taking another three-unit class. The requirement of laboratory classes to enroll in a general science class negatively affects a student’s ability to study for important classes and leads to unnecessary stress. A student’s schedule can quickly fill up when he or she enroll in two science classes, he or she will spend at least six hours a week in a lab and at four hours a week completing the pre-lab and post-lab assignment outside of the laboratory. The student may feel that he or she d... ...ass grade because it will usually negatively affect a student’s grade. Not every student learns the same way, some will learn better in the classroom setting, lab setting, or in the comfort of his or her home. The school should not force a student to enroll in a class that he or she does not need. Students have a limited time to complete their degrees and to learn as much as they can in their field of specialty but required labs may stall this goal. Ladder 49 vs. the Real Fire Department Essay

Ladder 49 is a firefighter movie which gives us a better picture of the real deal in firefighting. Several facets are shown in the movie which takes us to the more intimate level of the lives of firefighters where they do their job, and the personal lives they have that are entirely affected by their being firefighters. We get a picture of how firefighters create long lasting bonds within the confines of the rigorous job and also the consequences that the job imposes to the family members. The movie may probably be the most realistic depiction of firefighting scenarios in the US by far in film history. Theoretically, the creator of the film has employed firefighter circumstances and made it as real as it can possibly get. There are, of course, some differences made due to the cinematic requirements imposed by the film industry. But overall Ladder 49 may just be about the closest look into the realities of firefighting. The story revolves around Jack Morrison, as played by Joaquin Phoenix, who worked as a firefighter for a Baltimore station. The plots of the story are basically just about Jack Morrison’s career, his personal life, and the tragic event which lead to his unfortunate demise. The movie shows every stage of his career as a firefighter. The highlights of the initial part of the process of being a firefighter showed immediate camaraderie within Jack and his colleagues. This is portrayed in scenes where the firefighters pull pranks within each other, get into fights with each other, and just plainly have fun together. The movie establishes the kind of relationship that the profession brings into the lives of these people; a certain bond of brotherhood that is highly needed in the nature of a profession which is always in a high risk of danger. Also the movie presents moving fatalities and injuries as it is present in the line of work of firefighters. Jack’s personal life aspect, however, revolves around his family. The movie showed his courtship with Linda, played by Jacinda Barrett, to their marriage and to having their own family. The more personal level of the movie gets into scenes where the it shows the effects of Jack’s being a fire fighter to the family members. One example is when Linda gets too affected with the line of work of her husband as she came into her senses when she was in a funeral of Jack’s colleague. Then the movie further shows her distress in scenes where she, while pregnant, sees her husband on the television performing a highly dangerous stunt while saving a life. This also presents the kind of trouble the marriage gets into as they fight over the danger of his career and the fear that it entails. Eventually thereafter, they had children of their own and built a family while Jack pursues a higher, more hazardous post in the department. One of the most moving storylines of the film is where Linda declares her fear of seeing the red car showing up outside their house. In real life, the red car means that the firefighting department is to report not just the death of the family member working for the department but it can also be an injured family member. Thereafter, in the latter part of the film, it did show up and it is probably one of the most moving portrayals of how the consequences of the line of work of firefighting can heavily affect personal relationships. The movie basically revolved around a scene where Jack struggles to survive in one very tragic happening amidst an instance where he was doing his job. He was trapped in between a closed space and a heavy amount of fire. During these times, the movie just draws flashbacks of all the highlights of Jack’s career as a firefighter, his relationship with his colleagues, and his personal life with his family. The movie started with this scene and practically ended in it as well. It shows scenes where Jack talks to his captain, Mike Kennedy, as played by John Travolta, while he was struggling to escape from the fire. It also showed the moving, and tragic scene where Jack gave up and declared that he should be left alone inside the burning building and have his captain command the rest of the firefighters to evacuate. Subsequently, his death marked a tremendous loss in Baltimore as it was presented in scenes of Jack’s funeral ceremonies. Although this movie is deemed to be a very good depiction of the real life scenarios of firefighters, there are still some irregularities in the movie that can be addressed. Some of the scenes may even seem to be unrealistic and are obviously integrated in the movie to add to certain levels of the film industry’s entertainment standards. One manifestation of this irregularity is when Mike Kennedy, Jack’s captain, orders his firefighters to go inside the burning building to get Jack. This would seem very appropriate for the movie as a medium of telling the audience that Jack needs help. However, the truth is in real life firefighting situations, there are no protocols whatsoever that requires the captain to signal a command to get their fellow firefighter out of danger. Firefighters are trained to be highly independent on pursuing their tasks amidst adverse conditions. This is because most of the time communication between each other and even with the captain is not easily accessible. This consequently trains the firefighters to act based on their instincts which also mean that if a fellow firefighter is in danger there should not be thinking twice and waiting for commands. Instead instinct should take its toll to just try to save the life of the fellow fire fighter in danger in any way possible. Another inconsistency is when Mike Kennedy tries to exert as much sympathy as possible to the loss of one of their colleague due to a fire incidence. He tells his subordinates to take as much rest as they need. However, in a real firefighting scenario, bereavement does not require time off as the responsibilities entailed in firefighting are broad and cannot just be neglected easily. There can be no disclosures of irregular time offs with firefighters as it is very important that they report to their stations adequately and on time. As shown in the film, there is a scene where they show the firefighters in the station resting in their beds, and when there is a call for duty they just instantly position themselves to get ready for work. This just goes to show that time is indeed important in the firefighter’s duties and responsibilities. This movie also missed hitting it in a much more sensible treatment in such case as Jack’s declaration of a hopeless situation. This is when he deliberately asked his captain to stop the rescue and just have the rest of the team leave the premises because there is no chance that he can survive the circumstances. In real life situation however, there is no chance that the captain will fall for the command of his subordinate and just let the firefighter in danger burn. The real life situation would be less dramatic, and more action-oriented. The firefighters will do just about everything to save the life of their fellow man even if the said person in danger asks for him to be left alone. This is what the camaraderie and brotherhood brings about which is discussed earlier However, above all these irregularities in the film are also many great and truthful depictions of the real life firefighting scenarios. One of which that made a clear portrayal of the firefighting scene is the quick death of one of the firefighters. The instantaneous death is very similar to how it really happens in real life. The swiftness of the events in life and death situations is just as fast as it is depicted in the movie. Also, the scenes where Jack was amidst a burning house searching for someone who is in trouble of getting burnt inside is a good depiction of real life firefighting. The actions and happenings inside have a genuine feel to it. In other movies which show fire scenes, smoke conditions are not really as heavy as it truthfully is because audience will not be able to see anything if the realistic amount of smoke is integrated in the film. But Ladder 49 made a really good representation of how the smoke can be inside the burning building. This also shows how Jack struggle to get through with the situation in ways such as crawling in the dark and knocking some things over. Generally, the film may be perceived as just another drama portraying the heroism of firefighters. But more than anything else, this movie portrays everything that is good and bad in the firefighting profession. This also makes us appreciate that such people who are ready to risk lives for the welfare of everyone still exists in our society. References Ochieng, F. (2004). Ladder 49. School bullying among the students in schools

School intimidation is an act that holding physically, verbally, emotionally or electronically connexions to the victim which connected to instruction. It takes topographic point either interior or outside of the schools. School intimidation can be categorized in types and the common Acts of the Apostless that used to aim on the victims. Strong-arming can ever go on through physically, emotionally, verbally and electronically. This ever repeated in a period of clip. Finally, school intimidation happens in every individual corner in the school. The most happening countries are lavatories, hallways, corridors, canteen, abandoned schoolrooms, school coachs or coach Michigans. Besides, during PE category and deferral clip is the all clip favorites for school toughs to take action on their mark. School toughs ever comes with a group of pupils who are under controlled by a so called leader in the group. Their motivation is to suppress and govern the school among the pupils. They will seek for their mark and finally get down their mission on those weak victims. The group of pupils takes advantage or isolates peculiar pupil and derive the trueness from the bystanders who wants to avoid being the following victim. These school toughs will first annoyer and tease their mark before physically attack the mark. The marks of toughs in school are pupils who are weak and low-self regard, or treated as a monster by their equals. Students who are extraordinary if compared to their equals will handle otherwise by their equals either in the positive ways or frailty versa. In Malaysia, KUALA LUMPUR, 3 July 2007 – â€Å" Recent instances of school intimidation have become a cause for concern in Malaysia. One of the more dismaying incidents of strong-arming that stunned the state was the barbarous assault of a 16-year-old pupil by his school seniors in 2005 which led to his decease. This instance and others like it have raised public concern about force in Malayan schools. â€Å" – ( sumber: unicef Malaysia communications,2007 ) . This incident has rises concerns among the society. This is important and non acceptable which declared by the curate of instruction. The curate of instruction in Malaysia has made a public statement to the toughs that strong-arming instance is non acceptable and unforgiveable. The most of import thing to cognize about intimidation is non merely the signifier of physical force, but the most common destructive signifier in Malaysia schools is psychologically devastations. Peoples tend to concern on physical intimidation but ignored the psychological intimidation. This is a immense error that overlook on one side but non the other side of intimidation, and this is really unsafe that might take to important agony on those victims. Not merely the normal pupils face school intimidation, had princess Aiko from Japan faced the job as well. This incident causes the child absent from school and holding phobia towards school. Her jobs, said the Imperial Household Agency, arose from her â€Å" unsmooth behavior † at the custodies of male childs in her age group at the ultra-exclusive Gakushuin school she attends in cardinal Tokyo. ( The times, 6 March 2010 ) Concept of school intimidation Definition School intimidation is a systematic maltreatment of power ( Rigby, 2002 ) in school which now can specify as aggressiveness violent behaviour on victims who failed to support for themselves. ( Child and Adolescent Mental Health Volume 9, No. 3, 2004, pp. 98-103 ) .In Malaysia, based on a survey, 74.9 % of pupils are psychological-physically victims and followed by 53.2 % pupils involved in both types of intimidation, 14.5 % of non-bullies and eventually 8.6 % of non-victims. Recently, bully has going a major job and it needs to be overcome through step ining plan ( Greenbaum, Turner, Stephens, 1989 ; Wilson, 1992 ) . The whole state were concern and aware of this affair. Study on how common of pupils were bullied in schools reveals that about 80 % of primary school pupils have been bullied, and the bulk happen in the schoolroom. ( sumber: unicef Malaysia communications, 2007 ) Types of school intimidation There several types of intimidation in schools. Strong-arming can take many signifiers as in direct intimidation, indirect intimidation and cyber intimidation. Direct intimidation can be physically assault on the victims or verbally attack. School toughs frequently badgering and twits their victims, verbal onslaughts, jostling and etc. While indirect intimidation is more to verbal and societal behaviour. Bullies will verbal and emotionally assail their victims. Such as, distributing inaccurate rumours about a individual spoilt their repute, practical gags, eschewing and etc. At last, cyber intimidation is the usage of advanced cyberspace engineering, including societal web sites, text messaging and electronic mails to destruct their victims. Verbal intimidation is the most common type of strong-arming experienced by both male childs and misss. Male childs are more likely to be physically bullied by their equals ( Olweus, 1993 ; Nansel et al. , 2001 ) ; misss are more likely to describe being marks of rumorspreading and sexual remarks ( Nansel et al. , 2001 ) . Girls are besides more likely than male childs to bully each other utilizing societal exclusion ( Olweus, 2002 ) . ( beginning: unicef Malaysia communications, 2007 ) The toughs and the victims Besides the traditional functions of bully, victim, and not involved, a figure of surveies have examined the state of affairs of bully-victims or provocative or aggressive victims. Children demoing features of both bully and victim. Not surprisingly, a figure of surveies suggest that these kids are more at hazard than either pure toughs or pure victims ( Duncan, 1999 ; Wolkeet al. , 2000 ) . The toughs usually tend to hold norm or high ego esteem. They possessed with unprompted and hot treated features. They lack of empathy and they do hold troubles in obeying the regulations, the most of import things is they have this positive attitudes towards force ( Olweus, 1993 ) . Who are the marks for the toughs? Bullies will ever cognize who their marks are. They will choose their quarry by judging their marks. Normally victims are in little sizes, nerdy book worm looks, weak and low ego regard. The consequence of strong-arming on the victims is traumatising. It will do the pupil holding phobia towards school. They dare non and afraid of traveling to school. School is a incubus for them and this resulted negative impact on their emotional. They ab initio lost their involvement in school ‘s activities and plants, hapless public presentations in surveies, hapless attendings, and temper swing such as depression, isolated from the others, and limited contact with other people. Effectss of strong-arming â€Å" Emotionally, victims of strong-arming frequently suffer feelings of great hurt and fright whenever they are in school. † ( beginning: unicef Malaysia communications, 2007 ) Most of the victim will set the incrimination on themselves for the intimidation actions, and they believing that it is their failing or incompetency that contributes to them being picked on by the toughs. â€Å" Some victims of strong-arming seaport intense choler and resentment towards toughs and the societal coteries that condone and support strong-arming behaviour. † ( beginning: unicef Malaysia communications,2007 ) If this choler unable to resolutenesss, the victims will stop up strong-arming others to avenge and show their choler, and these are classified as bully-victims. Others might show their cholers such as anti-social behaviour. They may turn up to be hooliganism and larceny. Besides, it might take to suicidal effort. Bullying can take to suicidal effort as important strong-arming behaviour can do a victim to take the self-destructive way to stop the agony. Bullying can impact a kid ‘s learning procedure. In order to hold a quality instruction, a kid should hold explore in a safe, secure and high quality environment for them. These can assist them accommodate into a better acquisition environment and physically, emotionally and intellectually healthy. On the other manus, while under the menace of being injury and humiliation, a kid can ne'er able to carry through their academic potency. While in societal accomplishments, they are tend to be isolated from the others, n left to be low ego regard. Lack of communications and interactions with their equals will do the conditions even worst for them. This may consequences that instance strong-arming grow quickly among the pupils. Factors of act uponing intimidation behaviors Attitude Guerra and Nucci ( 1992 ) found out that delinquent pupils showed a lower inclination to see moral issues as incorrect and harmful than their non delinquent equals, and they considered moral issue as a affair of personal pick. ( Kim, Su-Jeong ( 2004 ) : A Survey of Personal and Environmental Factors Influencing Bullying. Dissertation, LMU Munchen: Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences ) . This has shows that the fundamental of the individual ‘s personality and attitude influence their behavior. A kid who are holding aggressiveness in attitude will move headlong and foolhardy. This shows that they unable to command their behaviors due to their attitude that has rooted deep in them. â€Å" Therefore, it is expected that higher positive attitude toward aggression predicts higher bully inclination † ( beginning: Kim, Su-Jeong ( 2004 ) : A Survey of Personal and Environmental Factors Influencing Bullying. Dissertation, LMU Munchen: Faculty of Psychology and Education al Sciences ) civilizations and environment The civilizations and the school environment plays an of import function in act uponing intimidation in schools. The schools environment and the civilizations in the school conveying a immense impact on act uponing pupils involve in school intimidation. If the school ‘s civilizations in school intimidation has been brought from coevals to coevals, school intimidation in this school instead important and this is the chief concern that school intimidation occurs and unresolved yet. Students easy influenced by a group of people particularly their seniors from higher signifier. Peoples, who have individualist beliefs, are inclined to be personal oriented. ( beginning: Kim, Su-Jeong ( 2004 ) : A Survey of Personal and Environmental Factors Influencing Bullying. Dissertation, LMU Munchen: Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences ) . The environment around the school is of import. If the environment in the school is tensed and edgy which full of toughs, pupils tend to be losing their intelligence and failed to believe rasionally. Students tend to be either predating the intimidation behavior or go on enduring under this bad circumstance. Family Family members seem to be the most influential party. The relationship between parents and their childs and the manner they parenting will act upon kids ‘s societal behaviour. â€Å" A conflictive, cold and rejecting raring manner leads to a deficiency of consideration for others â€Å" ( Shaffer, 1994 ) . The attitude of the parents rooted in the kid ‘s head and this may consequences how the kid will move in the hereafter. Fraczek and Kirwil ( 1992 ) found out the kids holding the parents, who stress on the accomplishment and competition, tended to be more aggressive than the other kids. ( beginning: Kim, Su-Jeong ( 2004 ) : A Survey of Personal and Environmental Factors Influencing Bullying. Dissertation, LMU Munchen: Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences ) In a household, parents are the most of import function in educate their kid in a proper manners. Parent ‘s values and beliefs are of import factors to represent the kid ‘s values and beliefs. Parents transfer societal norms and values to the following coevals through direct direction and in vicarious manner. ( beginning: Kim, Su-Jeong ( 2004 ) : A Survey of Personal and Environmental Factors Influencing Bullying. Dissertation, LMU Munchen: Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences ) ego positions Self perceptual experiences linked to different perceptual experiences from different angles. There are three chief perceptual experiences involved in school intimidation. The victim ‘s positions, Harmonizing to anterior surveies ( Kim, 1997: Kwag, & A ; Lee, 1999 ) , most of victims did non cognize why they were bullied. They have the thought which they are excessively bashful and does n't hold any close friends.
